Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) invites applications for 1-Year Paramedical Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentice Act, 1961. Eligible residents of Madhya Pradesh & Uttar Pradesh with relevant Graduate/Diploma qualifications may apply via the NATS portal.

Eligibility
- Age: 18–26 years as on 01.10.2025 (Relaxation: SC/ST 5 yrs, OBC 3 yrs; PwBD up to 10–15 yrs as applicable).
- Domicile: Residents of Madhya Pradesh or Uttar Pradesh only (resident certificate required).
- Education: Full-time regular Graduate/Diploma in relevant discipline from recognized University/Institute.
- Not Eligible: Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship earlier / or have 1 year or more job experience.

Selection & Medical
- Merit List: Based on aggregate marks of qualifying Degree/Diploma (no exam).
- Tie-Breaker: Date of Birth (older first), then alphabetical order of name.
- Medical Fitness: As per Mines Rules, 1955; certificate from Govt. hospital medical officer (≥ Assistant Civil Surgeon) after notification date.
Stipend
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹13,700/month
- Diploma Apprentices: ₹12,700/month
- Includes DBT component; paid monthly as per attendance and apprenticeship contract.
Important Notes
- No TA/DA, accommodation, food or transport will be provided.
- Apprenticeship does not confer right to employment in NCL.

How to Apply for NCL Apprentice Program
1. Register on NATS Portal
Candidates must first register themselves on the National Apprentice Training Scheme (NATS) portal:
2. Get Enrolment Number
• After successful registration, an Enrolment Number (Registration Number) will be generated.
• This number is mandatory to apply for NCL apprenticeship.
3. Apply Online in NATS Portal
• Login with your credentials on the NATS portal.
• Select Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) as the establishment.
• Fill in the online application form with accurate details.
4. Active Email & Mobile Number
• Candidate must have a valid email ID and mobile number, active for at least 1 year, for all future communication (Corrigendum/Updates/Alerts).
5. Upload Documents
• Scan and upload a passport-size colour photograph and signature in black ink (as per size mentioned in portal).
• Ensure correctness of all information before final submission.
6. Final Submission & Printout
After final submission, download/save a soft copy and take a printout of the filled application form for future reference.
7. Original Documents for Verification
At the time of scrutiny/document verification, candidates must bring:
- Aadhaar Card
- Mark sheets
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Application printout
- Other relevant certificates as required
8. Important Notes
• Only online applications are accepted. Paper-based applications will not be entertained.
• Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
• Candidates must meet eligibility criteria as of 04/10/2025 (cut-off date).
