Ophthalmic Technician Vacancy Details

Candidates preparing for Ophthalmic Technician recruitment should note that AIIMS Jammu has announced 03 vacancies for the post of Ophthalmic Technician (Grade-I).

  • B.Sc. in Optometry
  • OR B.Sc. in Ophthalmic Techniques
  • OR Equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution

Maximum Age: 35 Years

Educational Qualifications for Other Posts

  • Cath Lab Technician – B.Sc. Cardiac Technology or Diploma in Cath Lab with experience.
  • CSSD Technician – B.Sc. Medical Technology/Microbiology or relevant experience.
  • Medical Lab Technician – Diploma/B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology.
  • Perfusionist – B.Sc. with Perfusion Technology Certification.
  • Radiographic Technician – B.Sc. Radiography or Diploma with experience.
  • Radio Therapy Technician – B.Sc. Radiotherapy/Radiology or Diploma with experience.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of:

₹51,684 Per Month

No additional benefits such as Provident Fund (PF), National Pension Scheme (NPS), Gratuity, Seniority Benefits, Promotion Benefits, or other government employee allowances will be provided.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

  1. Applied Test / Interview
  2. Document Verification
  3. Merit List Preparation

The Applied Test/Interview will carry a total of 100 Marks.

Contract Duration

Important: These posts are purely contractual. The appointment will remain valid up to 31 October 2026 or until regular recruitment is completed by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, whichever occurs earlier.
